Eligibility :
- Candidate must have passed the Class 12th (HSC) examination or its equivalent from a recognized board with minimum aggregate marks as specified by St. Xavier's College for 2025 admission.
- Candidate must be born on or after June 1, 2002.
- Students appearing for Class 12th exam in 2025 are eligible to apply provisionally.
- Candidates who passed Class 12 from foreign boards or International Baccalaureate / 'A' levels or Cambridge International School exams must obtain a 'PRIMA FACIE' eligibility certificate from University of Mumbai before admission.
- No candidate is eligible if more than 5 years have elapsed since passing their last qualifying exam.
- Admission will be based on the combined merit of Xavier's Entrance Test (XET) score and Class 12 marks, with weightage of 60% XET and 40% Class 12 marks.

- Each question carries 1 mark; there is no negative marking for wrong answers in XET 2025 for BMS.
